Rita Carmichael, nutritional therapist, addresses doctors at Nottingham University Medical School
November, 2009
Rita Carmichael, nutritional therapist at the Castle Clinic, was invited to speak at a distinguished gathering of hospital consultants, GPs, dentist and their patients at Nottingham University Medical School on the subject of adrenal fatigue, a much neglected area of health that can affect the adrenal (stress) glands. Adrenal fatigue is often found in case of low energy, anxiety, poor sleep, digestive problems, weight gain or loss, depression and a weakened immune system. Rita’s presentation gave information on how to spot the symptoms, the tests she uses in clinic to detect adrenal fatigue and how nutritional therapy helps patients whose adrenal glands are performing below par.
If you find it difficult to get out of bed in the morning, your energy dips during the day, you are always catching colds and infections or experience panic attacks, it would be a good idea to contact Rita to see how nutritional therapy can help you.
